Can you use a ride share service to get to and from Port Everglades?

    Hello, Nicolette!

Your springtime Disney Cruise Line adventure is right around the corner! I’m happy to help you finalize your travel plans. Setting sail from Fort Lauderdale is incredibly convenient, with Port Everglades located approximately 4 miles from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport –just a quick 15-minute drive. You'll find a variety of transportation options available, including shuttles, taxis, and ride-sharing.

If you’re coming from the airport, head to the lower level and follow the curbside signage for ride-sharing, marked with a cell phone image. Pick-up locations are between terminals 1 & 2 and 3 & 4. After your cruise, you can take a ride-share or taxi back to the airport.

You can also add Disney Ground Transportation to your reservation for a hassle-free travel experience. Upon landing, proceed directly to baggage claim to collect your luggage, where a Disney Cruise Line representative will guide you to your designated transportation.

Once you arrive at Port Everglades, the magic truly begins! While waiting for your boarding group number to be called, take a moment to review your dining rotation and explore the Daily Activity Schedule on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. If you see something that catches your eye, click the heart icon to “favorite” it, and the app will send a friendly reminder 15 minutes in advance. This way, you don’t have to worry about missing out on any of the fun!

Wishing you a magical and unforgettable Disney Cruise! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any additional questions. My pals and I are always happy to help.
