    I want to ride the rock n Roller coaster in Hollywood studios but have never gone on an upside down roller coaster. how is it compared to The Expedition Everest ride in Animal Kingdom? Is it a full out loop-de-loop kind of upside down of a more slanted?

    Hi Dawei! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    It looks like you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just FOUR days! Hooray! I know you are excited to enjoy the Incredible Summer events happening and to explore Andy's Backyard in the all-new Toy Story Land in Disney's Hollywood Studios, too!

    I'm a big fan of both Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain in Disney's Animal Kingdom and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith in Disney's Hollywood Studios. I'm happy to share some of the differences between the two!

    Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is the faster roller coaster of the two and begins with a very fast start. Once you board your "super-stretch limo" ride vehicle and go through all the safety checks, you round a corner where the countdown begins. The attraction starts quickly and that is where your PhotoPass picture is captured. I have some great photos from this ride through the years! You go fully upside down more than once and the ride is mostly in the dark. You do not go backwards at all like you do on Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain.

    If you search the internet for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster POV (Point of View) videos, you will find some videos of this attraction in motion. Since this ride takes place mostly in the dark, you can't see everything in the videos, but it might help you feel more comfortable knowing what to expect!
