Bright Suns, Alexis!
Our Resistance forces on Batuu will be encouraged to hear that you are bringing additional recruits to join the Cause on
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Your son would need to be 40 inches tall to ride. I assume you have measured him and he is at least close to 40 inches. When we brought out girls for their first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort when they were 5-years old, one of them was not quite 40 inches tall a few months before we left. I measured her just before we departed and she measured at 40 inches. As soon as we tried to board Soarin' Around the World, a Cast Member motioned her over to be measured. Thankfully, she measured at 40 inches. She was so happy!
Your little one will be considered a part of your party since he is not required to have a theme park ticket and would not have a
Disney Park Pass system reservation. Given his age, I would be concerned about the intensity of the experience. There are parts that might frighten him. When our girls were younger, we would watch attraction videos on YouTube to give them a sense of the experience before we arrived.
As you continue to make plans, just be sure to measure your son's height just prior to your visit and know that a Cast Member will most likely measure him again at the entrance to the attraction. Try to prepare him for the experience. And consider your other time on Batuu. Make
advanced dining reservations at
Oga's Cantina so that you can catch up with other Resistance Allies.
Alexis, be sure to have the
My Disney Experience Mobile App downloaded so that you can try joining the
virtual queue for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. May the Force be with you as you plan!
Good journey,
Donyell
