Does Ride of Resistance offer Rider Switch? If not how do you handle?

Bright Suns, Debra! It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. With just a few days left until your trip to the planet Batuu, it's the perfect time to start thinking about some of those final details, like how to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance if you've got younglings in tow. I'm happy to walk you through how to join a boarding group and what Rider Switch will look like for you.

Rider Switch is available at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance but every member of your party who intends to ride must already be in a boarding group in order to use it. Once you've tapped your ticket or MagicBand to enter Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will be able to use the My Disney Experience app to join a boarding group. Boarding groups go live as soon as the Theme Park officially opens and they have been filling up very quickly first thing in the morning so getting there a little bit early is the best way to maximize your chance of getting to ride the attraction. Keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app and the screens around the Theme Park because that will be how you know your boarding group has been called. At that time, you can approach the entrance of the attraction and let a Cast Member know that your party wants to use Rider Switch, and they'll check your boarding pass and assign you a Rider Switch entitlement. That way, everyone who wants to ride will be able to and there will always be someone around to watch the little ones!

'Til the Spire, Debra, and may the Force be with you!
