Can you ride the monorail round trip from magic Kingdom back to magic Kingdom without getting off? This would be more for experience purposes, not for transportation purposes.

    Hi Leona!

One of my favorite things about Walt Disney World Resort is the monorail system. I'm not sure if it's that my engineer's mind loves the system's design, or if it's because I have fond memories of riding the monorail with my family and friends (even on my wedding day) or if it's a combination of both, but there's just something special about the monorail! And my husband and I have passed our love of the Walt Disney World Resort monorails on to our boys as every time we see a monorail during our trip, it completely takes over our conversation.

There are actually two separate monorail lines that you can enjoy that depart from Magic Kingdom! The Resort Monorail will take you around Seven Seas Lagoon and will stop at all three monorail resort hotels (Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa), as well as the Transportation and Ticket Center. The Express Monorail will still take you around Seven Seas Lagoon, but it travels in the opposite direction and only stops at the Transportation and Ticket Center.

Guests are welcome to enjoy a full loop on the monorail (or even both monorail lines). If you are taking the Resort Monorail, I definitely recommend getting off at some of the beautiful resorts along the way to enjoy their fantastic restaurants, gift shops and theming. And don't forget to take a trip on the Epcot Monorail, which travels between the Transportation and Ticket Center and Epcot, to get the full monorail experience. Keep in mind that monorail schedules and availability are subject to change based on maintenance schedules, so I recommend that you check with a Cast Member to avoid any service outages during your monorail voyage!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
