Hi Paige,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I’m sorry to hear about your arm, wishing you a speedy recovery!
In
Magic Kingdom Park, there are many attractions you can enjoy while wearing your arm cast! One of my favorites for relaxation and limited movement is the
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. It’s your highway in the sky! You’re able to view Tomorrowland and even Cinderella’s Castle from above. It’s also a nice way to cool off in the middle of the summer. Other ride through attractions like
Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid,
Pirates of the Caribbean,
Mickey's PhilharMagic, and
Peter Pan’s Flight are also great options!
When it comes to the thrill rides, it really depends on your comfort level for the ride and its overall movement when it comes to your arm. I definitely suggest connecting with the Disability Service Cast Members to hear their thoughts and suggestions around these attractions. Their number can be found
here.
Remember that you can also enjoy the entertainment within Magic Kingdom as well! There’s
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Fare,
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, and
Disney’s Enchantment. I’m sure you’ll want to rest in between rides so viewing one of the shows or parades would be the perfect way to do just that!
One final reminder, make sure to check if there's
Theme Park Availability for the day you're looking to go to Magic Kingdom. If there is availability, you'll want to purchase your ticket as soon as possible and book your
Disney Park Pass for that specific day!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other last minute vacation or planning questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
