Hi there Cheryl, welcome to planDisney! Thank you for reaching out with your fantastic question. I'm excited to help you plan your trip to
Walt Disney World Resort. You're in for a treat! Get ready to create unforgettable memories at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Yes, you can absolutely take an ECVs (Electric Conveyance Vehicles) on the
Disney Skyliner. The system is designed to be accessible and accommodating for guests with mobility needs. Each gondola can accommodate wheelchairs, ECVs, and other mobility devices. There are designated gondola cabins that are equipped with a wider door and a spacious interior to easily fit an ECV or wheelchair. The loading platforms at the Skyliner stations are designed to allow for easy boarding and disembarking. There is a separate, slower-moving queue for guests with mobility devices to ensure a safe and smooth boarding process.
When you arrive at a Skyliner station, inform a Cast Member that you need to use an ECV. They will direct you to the appropriate boarding area. The gondola cabins that are designated for wheelchairs and ECVs can be slowed or stopped entirely to allow ample time for boarding. Cast Members are available to assist if needed. Once inside, there are spaces specifically designed to secure your ECV to ensure a safe ride.
Cheryl, I hope you find this information helpful. Thank you again for visiting planDisney! We'll see ya real soon!
