Hey howdy hey, Juan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! October is a great time to visit the Disneyland Resort – the weather’s a bit cooler, the crowds are a bit lighter, and fall is in the air!
I’m happy to report that yes, Guests with valid
theme-park admission can board the
Disneyland Monorail at the
Downtown Disney District station, and travel straight to Tomorrowland! I find this is a great way to bypass crowds at the Main Entrance of Disneyland Park, especially if you're heading to an attraction in Tomorrowland or the surrounding lands. A Cast Member will check your ticket at the entrance to the Downtown Disney District Monorail Station, then you can head up the stairs (or elevator) and get in line. The Monorail runs approximately every 10 minutes, and closes intermittently for
fireworks performances. Upon arrival inside Disneyland Park, you’ll find yourself directly above
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage.
Here’s a helpful tip to create extra pixie dust on your next visit to the parks – ask a Disneyland Monorail Cast Member if you can wait to ride the front or back train of the Monorail for an extra-special experience. Sometimes both of these sections will be closed to Guests if the weather is too warm. But, weather-permitting, I especially love sitting in the front train and chatting with the Monorail Pilot. My children get a thrill whenever we’re able to enjoy this unique experience!
Wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth this fall!
