What are the ride closures in January?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Maria!

Walt Disney World Resort is open seven days a week, 365 days a year, so it's inevitable that there will be certain days or weeks where attractions are down for maintenance, updating, and sometimes a complete reimagining. Disney knows that we want to have this information as soon as possible so we can make plan our trips, so they've dedicated a section of the interactive calendar to attractions that will be closed. You can scroll to the bottom of every daily schedule and click on "View What's Closed for Refurbishment on Day View Calendar" to check for closures on each day of your vacation.

At the moment, it appears that Test Track at Epcot will be undergoing refurbishment during your trip this January, as well as the Walt Disney World Railroad and Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom Park. Attractions can be added or removed from this list at any time, so be sure to check back periodically in the days and weeks leading up to your vacation! There will also be a display at each Theme Park letting you know rich attractions are closed for any reason, so be sure to check that board as well as the My Disney Experience app when you arrive for the day.

    Have a magical day, Maria!
