Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Linda. It sounds like a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort is currently loading and we're here to help with any details leading up to the magic.
I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who shared that seat belt extenders are offered at select attractions. I asked if there was a list of attractions where this is offered and, unfortunately, they shared that there wasn't a list. Instead, you can chat with a Cast Member at the attraction to see if this is something offered before joining the queue. I've found that chatting with Cast Members is so helpful during my visits and they're always so friendly and do their best to make accommodations.
Keep in mind that the safety restraint can vary from attraction to attraction and seat belts might not be used depending on the attraction. There are even attractions that don't have safety restraints, like the Storybook Land Canal Boats, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Disneyland Railroad (my personal favorite), to name a few.
It looks like you'll be visiting during
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. The spooky season is such a scream! Be sure to head over to
Haunted Mansion Holiday to see how Jack Skellington and his pals have wrecked the halls. The black sleighs don't have seat belts and your Ghost Host will gladly secure the safety bar for you. I always look forward to seeing the new gingerbread display in the ballroom - I absolutely loved this year's. And after seeing (and smelling) the haunting display, you might be left with a gingerbread craving. You can head over to the Grand Californian to find a
Gingerbread Skeleton Cookie at the Great Hall Cart to satisfy any cravings.
Linda, I hope this is helpful as you're putting all of the pieces into place for your magical visit. Please come back to see us with any other questions that you might have. Here's wishing you a spooktacular time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
