Hi, Richard. Thanks for introducing yourself and bringing your question here to us at planDisney.
Theme park tickets to the
Disneyland Resort cannot be transferred or used at the
Walt Disney World Resort. While I'm unsure of exactly what type of voucher you have, most ticket media or vouchers specifically for the Disneyland Resort are unable to be used at the Walt Disney World Resort. I would encourage you to check the Terms and Conditions of the specific voucher you have. If you still cannot find a definitive answer, you can always
contact a friendly Cast Member at the resort and they'll likely be able to give you the specifics. But as a general rule of thumb, ticket media tied to one resort are usually not applicable to another.
Always keep in mind that if you have a
Disney Gift Card, they are usually able to be used at both resorts. This is why I always ask Santa for some of these cards because I can use them on an upcoming trip to either resort or for a
shopDisney shopping spree! Also, you'll want to check out the
Special Offers page of the Walt Disney World Resort website. There are usually some great promotions and you may be able to apply one to your upcoming visit. And what a visit it'll be! Be sure to
check out EPCOT's recent transformation and
new nighttime spectacular,
TRON / Lightcycle Run presented by Enterprise in
Magic Kingdom Park, and
Avatar Flight of Passage in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Especially since these experiences aren't available at the Disneyland Resort.
Richard, I hope you're upcoming trip is a wonderful one. Be sure to
let me know which experiences you think are better at the Walt Disney World Resort and vice versa. This is always a friendly debate my friends and I have! Personally, I'm of the mindset that most shared experiences are better at the Disneyland Resort, but I'm happy to have both to compare and enjoy.
We go on to discover new frontiers,
Matt
