Hello from RI! Thinking about renting a car... what companies does Disney have available at Car Care Center and Dolphin? If I take ME to AS Movies and want to pick up car for only a few days how do I get to either location? Thanks!

    Hello Nicole,

It's great to hear from a fellow Rhode Islander!  Although I've never done it, myself, my fellow Mom's Panelists assure me that renting a car on Disney property is very convenient.

Alamo and National operate both the Car Care Center and the rental location at the Dolphin Resort.  Since you are staying at All Star Movies, I would suggest renting from the Car Care Center.  They offer a shuttle that will pick you up from your resort to pick up your car.  You can either call the Center (407-934-4930) 24 hours in advance and arrange for a shuttle, or go to the front desk of your resort about 30 minutes before your pickup time and ask them to call the Car Care Center shuttle.

When you drop off your car, a shuttle can either drop you off at your resort OR at a park of your choice.

In order to rent from the Dolphin, you must provide your own transportation to this resort.  The easiest way to do that would be to take a bus to either Downtown Disney or to a theme park, then transfer to a bus going to the Dolphin.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
