I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and we will be staying outside the park. We will probally be driving and using the parking lots. The concern that I have is the walk from where we park to the entrance and if it would be better to park in the handicap area.

    Hi, Traci!

You'll be thrilled to know that there are trams that run from all of the parking lots at the Theme Parks as well as the Ticket & Transportation Center parking. These trams take you and drop you off very close to the front entrance of each Park. At the Ticket & Transportation Center, you'll be dropped off right at the front where you'll be able to walk right up to the monorail or a boat to the Magic Kingdom. I love the tram ride because it's the first "Attraction" we normally ride upon our arrival at Walt Disney World! I always recommend that you take a picture of the row you're parked in before you hop on the tram so that you remember where to get off when you return to your car. If you park in the handicap parking area, you would just walk from where you park to the front entrance instead of taking the tram. Depending on the season, this can make it more busy on the phone lines.

i hope that info helps, Traci! Please feel free to stop back by if there are any other questions you think of!

    Have a Pixie Dusted day!
