I have Rheumatoid arthiritis in my knees and hips. Will I be able to get the DAS?

Greetings Samantha, and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited to hear that you are planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort later this year.

The Disability Access Service (DAS) is for guests who have difficulty tolerating extended waits in a conventional queue environment due to a disability. You will need to chat with a Cast Member for the official approval of DAS. You can pre-register virtually when you are 2-30 days away from the first day of your park visit. You can also go in person to Guest Relations at any theme park and speak with a Cast Member regarding your concerns.

Samantha, since you have mobility issues, you may not qualify for DAS because you can be served with the use of a wheelchair or Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) or in other ways. If you have other issues that keep you from being able to tolerate waiting in a typical attraction queue, I encourage you to speak with the Disability Services team at (407) 560-2547 or reach out to them via email at disability.services@disneyparks.com.

Thank you so much for visiting us here at planDisney and please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with as you plan your trip.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
