Ahoy Gable –
You are planning one of my favorite types of vacations, Land and Sea! My pirate crew just got back from our trip last month, and we had so much fun as well as making memories for a lifetime. And you are so smart to look for rewards and deals to take advantage of! Most of the rewards that I know of will be the type that you can get once you are already on vacation. For instance, when you stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will find a magical offer in your room that gives you the opportunity to book a return trip at a later date for some serious savings. I call that the “Bounce-Back-Deal” and I try to book one every time I am there. When I stayed last month, the deal was guests that book before check-out get 30% off room only rates for Deluxe and 25% off for moderate resorts. Once you are on your cruise, if you think you would like to return, then book your future cruise while onboard to save 10% off the listed price and get onboard credit of up to $200. I usually do this the first or second day of my cruise to beat the rush. Cruisers who are Gold Castaway (completed 5 cruises) or Platinum (completed 10 cruises) will have special discounts in the spa, the shops, and additional stateroom gifts. As a
Silver Castaway, you will also receive a stateroom gift. Finally, the Disney Visa may save you some gold doubloons. Using the
Disney Visa Card can earn you Disney Rewards which can be converted to Disney Gift Cards. Also, guests who book and pay for their cruise with their Disney Visa get $50 onboard credit. New credit card applications will result in a $200 statement credit once you spend $500! Gable, hope this helps you save some gold doubloons, and thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
