I reviewed the link for onboard gratuities. I know its per guest, but does it apply to each night also. For a 7 night cruise, the tip for the dining room server is $28. Does that cover the total 7 nights, or is it $28 each night for 7 nights. Thanks!

    Hi, Stephanie!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel to clarify your inquiry on gratuities.  Disney's cast members are a huge part of your experience onboard. There have been so many instances where cast members have gone above and beyond the call of duty to assist guests on the Disney Cruise. They really do make the Disney Cruise much more magical for all the guests.

The suggested on board gratuities are for the 7-night cruise as a whole, and not per night.  For each of the 4 cast members (Dining Server, Assistant Server, Dining Room Head Server and Stateroom Host/Hostess), Disney has a suggested gratuity amount. It comes out to $84 per person total, for the 7 night cruise.  The breakdown is $28 for the Server, $21 for the Assistant Server, $7 for the Head Server and $28 for the Stateroom Host/Hostess.  Then simply multiply $84 by the number of guests per stateroom. That would be the total gratuities that you'll need to budget for, when you plan your 7-night cruise.

I hope that this information helps. Please do let me know how I can help with the rest of your planning.

    Have a magical day!
