    I have reviewed the calendar for May 2012 and there is nothing stated that Epcot will be closing test trac for refurbishing. However, I have read on another website that it will be closed from April 2012 to September 2012. Do you know if this is true?

    Periodically, Walt Disney World needs to shut down rides for extended periods of time in order to make new and better magic!

    The Disney Parks Blog does confirm a multi-month closure for Test Track; the dates I'm hearing are April 15 - September 21, 2012.

    General Motors is still sponsoring the attraction, but the focus will be on the Chevrolet brand in particular, and include lots of new features, like the Chevrolet Design Center.

    The Disney Parks Blog is the best place for up-to-the-minute news and information from official Disney sources; unaffiliated fan sites such as www.AllEarsNet.com are also reasonably reliable for fact-checking, but do remember that they are not official Disney sites.
