Greetings Michelle!
While I haven't been able to take the
Star Wars Guided Tour at Disney's Hollywood Studios myself, I had a couple of friends take it this past fall and have questioned them extensively on it. Not only was I curious because I love most Disney Guided Tours, but I wanted to know if it would be a good fit for my Star Wars-loving kiddo.
The seven-hour tour is full of Star Wars experiences including a movie screening, two live shows, meeting Star Wars characters, exploring Star Wars Launch Bay, Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple (Guests 4-12), Star Tours - The Adventure Continues, lunch and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. It's quite an immersive experience for full-fledged Star Wars fans filled with history, fun facts and more. While my 6-year-old loves all things Star Wars, my only hesitation on signing up for the tour with him is the time commitment. I'm sure he'd adore it, but it's a pretty long itinerary to stick to. If you're hesitant as well, as an alternative, you could sign your Padawan up for
Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple and explore the other experiences on your own. If you're still looking for a fun way to end your Star Wars adventure, the
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party could be a special surprise with a sweet treat and a chance to hug Chewbacca.
May the Force be with you in planning your galactic vacation, Michelle. Please visit us again soon with any other questions you may have.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
