Hey there Lynne, welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question.
Getting ready to plan a trip after just coming back from one is one of the greatest gifts. And let me tell you that is exactly how my family does it. On our way back we recount what we did versus what we wanted to do. And then we start to talk about our next trip to Walt Disney World Resort.
When you visited during the 50th Anniversary you may have seen your favorite character somewhere in
Magic Kingdom Park in statue form made of gold. If you had a DisneyBand+ you would have been able to wave at them and receive a response. If you didn’t have a DisneyBand you may have received one of the “Keys to the World” in a 50th Anniversary design. Just like any DisneyBand saved to your
My Disney Experience App these cards will be saved and you absolutely can reuse your cards from your last visit. You cannot change who the card user is but you can activate it and deactivate it as you like. I change my DisneyBands from day to day to match my current Disney style.
Depending on when your last visit was during the 50th celebration Magic Kingdom Park has had a change this past April. If you love thrills TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise has been added to the lineup of thrill rides inside this classic park. You will need to try and obtain a boarding pass on the My Disney Experience App on the day of your visit. Make sure you are on the App a couple of minutes before 7 a.m. and join the Virtual Queue. If you aren’t able to get one at 7 a.m. try again while inside of the park at 1 p.m. This attraction lives up to all the hype and is amazing whether you ride during the day or night.
I hope your next trip to “The Most Magical Place on Earth” is closer than you expect it to be. Revisit us anytime at
planDisney.com and we will be happy to help again.
Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
