My DH returns from Afghanistan soon and wants to take DD, 2 and 9 to DW for Spring Break. DH wants SOG and I want more of Disney "magic" for girls. Value resorts are comparable as far as $. SOG is more like a deluxe resort. Luxury vs. "magic"

Hi Jennifer! First, I want to say, "Thank You" for the sacrifices that your family has made for our Country. I'm certain your husbands homecoming will be absolutely magical for you and your daughters.

I would actually recommend Shades of Green over a Value Resort. Your girls will have a lot of opportunities for Disney Magic in all of the Theme Parks. The beautiful standard rooms at SOG are some of the roomiest at Disney World. I think you'll find them to be more spacious than the Value Resorts. I'm guessing that you'll be planning to fully immerse yourself in the Disney magic while in the Parks, and will simply return to your room to relax and sleep at night. At that point, you may appreciate the extra space.

I think you'll be very pleased with the beautiful Shades of Green Resort.

I hope this helps and that you have an incredible time with your family.
