Returning the 1st week of Dec 2015, 1 adult 2 kids 12&4. Narrowed down to Contemporary, Beach or Yacht and Wilderness Lodge. Quick Service resort restaurant, location to parks, and the pool are most important. Help please! Thank you :)

    Hi Crystal,

I just love that you are planning your December 2015 vacation with such vigor! It may seem like it's far away, but it will be upon you before you know it. Then you'll officially be welcomed home.

Out of the 3 amazing Walt Disney World Resort Hotels that you listed, I'd have to say that Disney's Beach Club will offer you most of what you are looking for in terms of your must-have vacation accommodations. There are 2 delectable Quick Service restaurants available for guests: Beach Club Marketplace and Hurricane Hanna's Waterside Bar and Grill. While it's not technically a Quick Service restaurant, you'll have to take the kids to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Their Angus Beef Burgers are delicious, and if you dare, try to conquer the Kitchen Sink. Only the bravest of guests have tried and succeeded!

Beach Club Resort has ample transportation to the Walt Disney World theme parks. It's just a short 5 minute walk to the International Gateway in Epcot's World Showcase, and a 15 minute walk or 20 minute Friendship boat ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios. There is designated bus transportation from the resort to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney.

One of the best parts of Disney's Beach Club Resort are the pools. Stormalong Bay is the largest swimming area within the resort and actually has a sand bottom! There is a 230-foot-long waterside, lazy river and 3 whirlpool spas. If you're looking for a quieter experience, there are also 3 leisure pools available around the Beach and Yacht Club Resorts.

I hope this helps you with your planning, Crystal. If you have any more questions while planning your magical vacation, feel free to ask me at any time. I'm always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
