    We will be returning to WDW Nov 2018. I will be making reservations at Cinderella's Castle for dinner. We have a dining plan however, I have been told that we must pay for the meals at the time the reservations are booked. Do we get reimbursed?

    Hi Christopher, 

    Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I am so excited to hear that you will be returning to Walt Disney World Resort in November, it is a great time to visit, there are so many fantastic new experiences available to guests, and the holiday decor will be coming together nicely!

    If you are planning on making Advanced Dining Reservations online for Cinderella's Royal Table you will be asked to prepay for your reservation.  If you would like to use your Dining Plan, simply inform the Cast Member when you arrive at your table in the Castle and they will be more than happy to refund your Credit Card and use your Dining Plan.  This is very common and they will take care of the refund quickly.  Please be aware that the refund may take several day to appear on your credit card, so don't panic.  

    Even though my family and I usually use the Disney Dining Plan, when we dine at Cinderella's Royal Table, we typically will pay out of pocket in advance for that dining experience and use our Disney Dining Plan credits for other Dining Options.  I like the fact that it is pre-pay, so I don't have any additional costs when I am at Walt Disney World Resort, but I have some more dining credits available for our stay.
