Hello! We're returning to WDW in 5/13 and would like to have counter-service (not character) breakfast in the parks. Can you please let me know what choices there are? I only found Main St. Bakery at MK, which will be closed, and Pizzafari at AK. Thanks!

    Hi Sandy,

It's a great idea to grab a quick counter service meal in the parks and get going right away in the morning.  That way, you can get a head start on the crowds.

There are options for counter service breakfasts at each park.  At Epcot, you can find counter service breakfast at Sunshine Seasons in Future World.  At Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can grab breakfast at Starring Rolls Cafe or at Fairfax Fare.  You are correct, at the Animal Kingdom, counter service breakfast is available at Pizzafari.

While there is a closure of Main Street Bakery, there are other options for counter service breakfast in the Magic Kingdom.  According to Disney Dining, during the closure of Main Street Bakery, the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant will be serving breakfast.  You also might consider heading into New Fantasyland, where Gaston's Tavern opens early and serves cinnamon rolls and chocolate croissants.  Yum!

Another option for counter service if you are visiting the Magic Kingdom is to stop at any of the resorts on the monorail, all of which have food courts for counter service dining which offer breakfast.  If you were planning on taking the monorail to the Magic Kingdom, simply hop on the monorail resort loop.  At Disney's Contemporary Resort you can grab a quick breakfast at the Contempo Cafe.  At Disney's Polynesian Resort, visit Captain Cook's.  At Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, you can get a quick breakfast at Gasparilla Island Grill.  Then hop back on the monorail and head to the Magic Kingdom!

Have a great trip!  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
