Hi Moms - we are returning to WDW again this year to celebrate DS's 3rd B-day. I noticed last year a lot of the restaurants didn't recognize birthdays. Do you know traditionally which ones do? I have res. at Chef Mickey's the 1st night - do they?

Hi Amy!

Birthdays at Walt Disney World are the BEST! We've celebrated birthdays many times while at Walt Disney World, and I'll let you know what I've found to help get that birthday pixie dust.

1. Note that your celebrating a birthday on each reservation. Your resort reservation is included in this list as well.

2. Mention your celebration to the host or hostess as you're being seated.

3. Usually our server brings up our special celebration, and if they don't, I like to casually mention it as well.

Chef Mickey's is a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday! So lively and fun! I know you'll just love it!

I hope your son has a fabulous birthday celebration, and please tell him Happy Birthday from me!
