Hi, Kim!
Wow, so much has changed in Walt Disney World since your visit 3 years ago (and your boys are likely old enough for some new adventures this time around); you are going to have so much fun on your upcoming trip!
Regarding booking your WDW Resort hotel, if you're trying to make the jump from a Moderate Resort to a Value Resort, try
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The newest of the Values, AoA features a few additional amenities that will wow your family. One of my favorites, is Landscape of Flavors, which is arguably one of the best in any WDW Resort hotel, regardless of category. The menu alone is enough to make we want to stay there. Seriously; check it out.
Disney's Art of Animation's The Big Blue Pool is the largest WDW Resort pool features underwater speakers so that you can hear bits from
Finding Nemo while swimming
underwater! So cool!
If you decide to stay in a
Disney's Art of Animation Family Suite, your room will feature two bathrooms, a separate sleeping area and a mini-kitchen. Any one of those bonuses might be enough to convince you that your family should never stay anywhere else when touring WDW. See the photos in that link for more details.
If you are really set on either Pop Century or All-Star Sports, you'll likely find them both to very similar to each other. Family Suites are available at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort, too, located right next to All-Star Sports. ASM is one of my favorite Value Resorts, so I think your family would be happy there, too.
Send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
