Hi, Jeff!
I’m thrilled to hear that you’re heading back to the
Disneyland Resort next month! Your trip will be here before you know it.
St. Patrick’s Day is a fun and festive time to visit “The Happiest Place on Earth.” There’s sure to be special Limited Edition merchandise available, like themed ear hats, Disney Pins and apparel inspired by the luck o’ the Irish. You’ll also likely find shamrock-colored beads, boas and hats available from carts in the parks and the Downtown Disney District in celebration of Ireland’s patron saint.
There aren’t any restaurants that regularly serve corned beef inside Disneyland Park, but I’m betting that you won’t have to go far to get your hands on some. Last year, some of the Downtown Disney District locations (just steps from the parks) offered special menu items to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, including green beer and Irish coffee at
Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen, as well as—you guessed it—the ultimate St. Patrick’s Day meal of corned beef and cabbage!
With this being the year of Limited Time Magic at Disney Parks, you never know what surprises might pop up around the resort to help Guests celebrate the holiday. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as March 17 approaches for possible sneak peeks at the special merchandise and festivities.
Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your vacation, Jeff…and don’t forget to bring your green!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
