Hello there, Sarah!
The Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros has been one of my favorite rides ever since I was a child. There’s something about those three feathered amigos or that cruise down the Rio Grande that keeps me coming back year after year. Maybe it’s that it reminds me of
"it’s a small world" in Magic Kingdom Park.
At this time, the only Three Caballeros-themed character experience is to
meet Donald Duck in Mexico. As soon as you exit the Mexico Pavilion building, you’ll find Donald around the corner on the left of the building. Donald has a beautiful ancient Aztec pyramid behind him, and you can
view the times that he is available under the character experience information. I recommend selecting “Add to My Plans” so that this appears under your plans in your My Disney Experience mobile app.
The only time I’ve seen José or Panchito come out for photos is during a few
runDisney race photo opportunities, but I can’t predict what races they’ll go to in the future. I also saw them at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in the past, but they aren’t there now. I recommend watching the Disney Parks Blog to see if any updates come out in the future.
Did you know that the film that the attraction is based on,
The Three Caballeros, is available to stream on Disney+? Watching this film may be a fun way to prepare for your upcoming vacation.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
