we are returning to disney april 2009. we are thinking about staying at coronado springs or another moderate resort for the first time. my ? is the food at the food courts at the moderate resorts the same price as the ones at the value resorts?

    Hi Kenny!

Welcome back to Disney World!  I LOVE the food courts found in all of the Value Resorts - you just can't beat the selection.  The moderate resorts have great food courts as well and the majority are priced at the exact same price points.   However, the prices at the Coronado Springs Resort's food court are about 15% higher because it caters to a large number of convention goers.  I find the whole process at Coronado Spring's Pepper Market a little bothersome - you pick a seat, place your drink order and are handed a card to be stamped by the Cast Member at the food station of your choice.  Due to this extra service, tips are both appreciated and expected.  Don't get me wrong, the service and food at Coronado Springs are excellent, I just prefer a "true" food court experience when we are in a hurry.  Other guests love the experience of the Coronado Springs food court - it's all a matter of opinion.  Whatever resort you choose, you can't go wrong at Walt Disney World!
