Returning 2015: daughter will be 11 9/24/14, son will be 4 8/2/15. Can't decide between May 2015 over Mothers Day Week for Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival(never been); or Oct 2015 for Halloween Party(attended before). Please help. Thank you!!

    Hi Crystal,

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel! You are trying to choose between two of my very favorite times to visit Walt Disney World. My family and I have been several times in May and October so I thought I would ask my kids, now 13 and 16, which they would prefer. They both agreed on October! While they enjoy any of the festivals at Epcot, they felt like Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party was much more fun. Just in case you wouldn't be attending the party, I asked them if it made a difference. They agreed that without the Halloween party, either May or October would be great.

I do love the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. The topiary displays are absolutely unbelievable. I have actually learned some great gardening tips while there, too. I think you're very smart to consider traveling during Mother's Day. I can't think of a better place to celebrate a special day!

I hope I've helped with your decision. Please visit us again with any other vacation planning questions.
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
