Returning in August w son 9 and daughter 8. First time w.out stroller. Ideas for ways to lug around the items we'd normally keep in stroller (water, snacks, rain ponchos, extra clothing, sunscreen, etc)?

Hi, Christopher!  What a huge milestone for your family! We recently achieved that distinction and are thrilled with how much easier it is to maneuver through the parks. I've learned to be very efficient when it comes to preparing the "park pack," and I would suggest a good, lightweight backpack with lots of zippers and pockets. I use rain ponchos as my base, and I no longer bring extra clothing.  I do compensate by bringing a couple of wash cloths, a quick detergent pen, sanitary wipes (to wipe down tables or handles), tissues and snacks. I also snap hand sanitizer and sunscreen to the backpack using a carbiner.  I either pack only a couple of water bottles in the outside pockets, or everyone carries their own water bottles. I include a fold-away brush (to look good in family vacation photos), and I place a small digital camera and my cell phone in a ziploc baggie (to ensure that they don't get wet).  My husband usually is walking around with our video camera, or we wrap it up in a dry poncho in the backpack for safe storage. You are going to be so pleased with walking onto an attraction without having to park a stroller first that you'll be skipping the entire way! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
