Just returned from GF-stayed in Main building, dormer room. Loved everything about it, BUT our room did not have a split bathroom. Definitely could have used it for 4 adults (including our two 20 year old girls). Do other rooms have this feature?

Hi, Michele! I love staying at the Grand Floridian...especially in the main building. I've never stayed in a dormer room, but a friend of mine did when we were there a few years ago. Although the dormer rooms seem to have more elbow room with the vaulted ceilings, they evidently have less square footage than a normal guest room. We stayed in Sago Cay and had a split bathroom -- which (I'm assuming) you mean the double vanity on the outside with the toilet and shower area behind a closed door. The other guest rooms we've stayed in the main building as well as the other buildings have had the separate vanity areas also. Maybe the dormer rooms could not afford to split the bathrooms because of the space limitations. I hope this has helped you. I bet you can't wait for your next magical vacation?! Meanwhile, have a wonderful day!
