We are retiring this year and would love to stay at fort wilderness cabins longer than a week. Are there discount rates and can you book a cabin for a month or camp site for longer than a month?

Hi Angela! The Fort Wilderness Cabins are a favorite place to stay with many of Walt Disney World's guests. This resort is also my favorite place to stay since we bring our motor coach down every fall for a couple of months.

You can book a room or a site for up to one month at a time. You are certainly welcome to stay as long as your budget holds out but you must make separate reservations and they can be no longer then a month in length. Unfortunately, Disney does not offer a discount for those guests who wish to have a lengthy stay so the cost will add up and be pricey. Rates in Fort Wilderness also fluctuate for weekdays and weekends. Obviously the least expensive way to stay at length is by renting or using an RV of some sort. There are companies who offer RV rentals and it might be something you enjoy to start your retirement. The campsites are beautiful and the atmosphere is one of peacefulness and quiet yet friendly.
