Hi there, Thomas! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by to see us!
A trip to Walt Disney World in retirement sounds incredible! In October, Walt Disney World will be celebrating its
50th anniversary, so you could not pick a more exciting time to visit! It will be a time of happiness and celebration for all involved.
Theme Park Tickets are available for purchase via the Walt Disney World website. They are often discounted as part of Vacation Packages on the
Special Offers pages of the Walt Disney World website. During the purchase process, you will choose whether you would like your
Admission cards mailed to your home or if you would like to pick them up from the Ticket window. The Admission Card is a “hard ticket,” but your MagicBand, if you have one, can also serve as the same. Plus, a MagicBand is instant Disney flair, right on your wrist!
Once your Tickets are purchased, even if you have not yet received the Admission Cards in the mail, you can use the confirmation number provided to you after your purchase to link the tickets to your My Disney Experience account. After you’ve done so, you’ll be able to make
Disney Park Pass Reservations, which are necessary for each day you wish to visit a Theme Park. Once you have your reservations, you’ll be all set!
Thomas, I hope that these tips are helpful to you as you continue to plan your retirement getaway. Please do not hesitate to return to see us if we can keep helping you with any of your Disney travel needs!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Clara
