Hiya Rachel,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your parking question—and a very big thank you for your service. How exciting that you’ll be visiting
Magic Kingdom at the end of this week! It’s such a beautiful time of year to stroll down Main Street, with all the pumpkins, fall garlands, and glowing Mickey jack-o’-lanterns lighting the way. There’s truly nothing like seeing Cinderella Castle sparkle in the distance as the autumn magic comes to life around you.
Now, let’s dive right into your question. When arriving at Magic Kingdom, all Guests enter through the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). That’s where you’ll pay the
standard parking fee before being directed to your designated area. Since you have disability plates, the friendly Cast Members at the entrance will assist you with accessible parking. Just let them know you’ll need to park in the disability section, and they’ll guide you there—usually by having you follow the blue line on the pavement (subject to change) until another Cast Member directs you to the reserved spaces closest to the
monorail and ferryboat entrances.
From there, you can choose either the monorail or the ferryboat for a magical ride over to the park—each one is a wonderful way to start your day at the Most Magical Place on Earth! My in-laws also utilize accessible parking, and in our experience, the Cast Members are phenomenal at ensuring everything goes smoothly.
If you’ll be using a wheelchair or
ECV, those can be rented right after you enter Magic Kingdom, near the entrance gates on the right-hand side. Once you’re inside, be sure to enjoy some classic attractions like It’s a Small World,
Dumbo the Flying Elephant, or one of my kids’ favorites, The
Carousel of Progress.
Rachel, I hope this helps you plan for a smooth and magical arrival! If you have any additional questions, feel free to visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
