Leo from WA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am a retired veteran with 24 years of service i also have 100% disability rating. I have plans to check inSeptember 30th. go to disneyland/California adventure October 1st-4th and check out the 5th. is there any discounts that I can use?

A warm welcome to planDisney from all of us to you, Leo. Woohoo! I'm so excited to hear that you're planning to visit the Disneyland Resort later this year. Let's get to your question and get this planning party started.

First and foremost, thank you for your service and sacrifice. I'm delighted to share that there are specially priced theme park tickets for eligible US military personnel for 2026. Eligible Service Members (this includes active or retired members of the National Guard, Reservists, the US Coast Guard, the US Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)) can purchase these tickets from a participating US military base ticket office. Based on the plans you've shared, it sounds like the 4-Day Military Promotional Park Hopper Ticket might be a great option for your visit. You can purchase up to 6 tickets for you and your group, and one of the tickets must be used by you. Valid military identification is required for both purchase and admission.

If you're planning to stay at a Disneyland Resort hotel, there's also an offer for special rates on select rooms for Eligible Service Members. Valid military identification must be presented at check-in and a limit of 2 rooms per reservation with occupancy restrictions apply per room. To check rates and make reservations, you can call (866) 309-9737. Be sure to carefully read all of the offer details to ensure that this will work for you.

I just returned from a stay at the Disneyland Hotel and a few days at the parks. I had such a great time and it's been hard adjusting back into real life. Your visit is planned during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, which is one of my favorite times of the year. There's nothing quite like walking into Disneyland to see the giant Mickey pumpkin greet you in Town Square. Be sure to download the Disneyland app for your visit. It's incredibly handy with attraction wait times, a map of the resort, and my personal favorite, a way to mobile order your food and beverage to cut down on wait times and avoid any hangry situations.

Leo, I hope this is helpful and gives you the next step in your planning process. Don't hesitate to come back and ask us any other questions that you might have. Until then, here's wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
