We are retired military and I have purchased tickets through our MWR for Disney World in June. I was told that we need to go to a Disney World Park, show our military ID and exchange these for the park hopper passes. Can I do this at Disney Springs?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kathleen!

On behalf of my fellow Panelists, thank you for your service to our country. Mine is a military family too, and we are so grateful for all the wonderful ways Walt Disney World Resort makes it easy and affordable for us to enjoy together magical time.

I'm glad to hear you've purchased your Military Promotional Tickets and are counting down the days to your vacation. You will need to bring the exchange certificates you purchased, along with your military ID, to a Guest Relations location, and that does include the Disney Springs Welcome Center. If you have MagicBands, you'll want to bring them with you so the tickets can be linked to each band. My family just did this last week, and it's a quick and easy process – and then you're ready to let the magic begin!

Kathleen, you'll be able to use the numbers on the exchange certificates you purchased to make your FastPass+ selections, either 60 days in advance of your check-in date if you'll be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, or 30 days in advance if you'll be staying off-site. Just follow a few quick and easy steps to get your tickets linked to your My Disney Experience account. If you experience any trouble with those steps, contact the My Disney Experience Support Cast Members at (407) 939-4357 and they will wave their magic wands and get you all set.

There are so many delicious dining and snacking locations in Disney Springs, Kathleen, so bring your appetite when you stop by. One of my favorite places to stop for dessert is Amorette's Patisserie, which carries a fantastic selection of sweet treats with Disney touches. I had a pineapple éclair there on a recent visit that was completely incredible! There are so many great dining options, you just can't go wrong, and I hope you enjoy the yummy bites and lovely ambience of Disney Springs.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
