    We are retired military planning a trip for 2015. Is it possible to get the military discounted hotel room AND a dining plan special? I've heard normally it is a discounted room rate OR dining plan special. Thank you!

    Hi Michelle!

    What you've heard is true: you must choose between utilizing the special military offers or "free dining" specials because the free dining specials require you purchase a fully priced room and Magic Your Way ticketing package. However, if you book a room using the military rate, you are able to purchase a Disney Dining Plan without having to purchase a Magic Your Way ticket package.

    I suggest pricing out both options, but we find getting the room discount and paying "out of pocket" for the Disney Dining Plan ends up being the more affordable option, especially when combined with the specially priced Disney 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets.
