Kathleen from MI Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We have resv's at Art of Imagination starting November 13. I tried to do a trial run of booking fast passes and only could advance to the month of September. Since I am able to book 60 days out, why can't I advance the calendars to Oct/Nov?

Hello Kathleen, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.

The FastPass+ system is a great way to minimize the time you could spend in the Standby line for your favorite rides and attractions. FastPass+ is available to any guest, with a valid admission linked to their My Disney Experience account. Experiences can be reserved 30 days in advance. Since you are a guest staying at a select Disney Resort Hotel, you can make your FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to your check-in date. You can make your selections for the entire length of your trip, up to 10 days.

The system will only allow you to see available experiences right now that are 30 days in advance because your check-in date is more than 60 days out. Your FastPass+ window will magically unlock for you at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday, September 14, 2018, 60 days before your check-in date. You are a planning rock star to think of doing a test run before your actual selection date arrives. Since you are able to see available experiences 30 days in advance, I would suggest making sure that you can successfully add everyone to your FastPass+ party that you will be selecting FastPass+ experiences. This will allow plenty of time for you to add someone to your “My Family and Friends List” or link their theme park admission tickets. My other tip is to sign in to My Disney Experience about 5-10 minutes before 7:00 a.m. on your selection day. This will allow me plenty of time to access my account from my laptop, smartphone or tablet device so I can be ready to go at 7:00 am sharp. Good luck with your planning and if you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
