RE:Studio @ WDL vs Regular room @ BCR in late Nov.I know it's a preference thing but what would you recommend for a family of 5(ages 12-7)?Obvi,the pool is a draw @ BCR but unsure how much swimming will happen that time of year?

    Hi Brandy,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. You are looking at two great resorts! I assume that you are considering a Deluxe Studio at the Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge as the Deluxe Studios there will sleep five guests. At Disney's Beach Club Resort, most regular rooms will also sleep five guests. These two accommodations are fairly similar in size.

You are correct, this is a matter of your family's personal preference! What I can do it tell you what I would choose. In this situation, I would choose Disney's Beach Club Resort. While Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a lovely resort with a theme celebrating American National Parks, I prefer Disney's Beach Club Resort. I love the quaint, beach theme at this resort, and I find it to be very convenient! From Disney's Beach Club Resort, you can walk or take a boat to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. You also have easy walking access to the resorts around Crescent Lake, including Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Disney's BoardWalk features great nightlife as well!

At the end of November, it is of course a cooler time of year at Walt Disney World; however, the pools are heated. While you might not decide to spend a day at the pool, you might want to take a dip at Stormalong Bay, Disney Beach Club Resort's amazing pool area.

No matter which resort you choose, I am sure that you will have a lovely time, Brandy! Please do let us know if you have any further questions in planning your magical vacation.
