Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Elizabeth. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you'll soon be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort! I bet you and your family are counting down the days to your arrival with excitement and anticipation.
A Disney vacation is always magical, but exceptionally so with a
little one in tow. I have just loved watching my three kids experience the magic of Disney storytelling in
and out of the theme parks! They certainly enjoy all the pixie-dusted adventures they have in the theme parks, but second on their Disney-favorites list is splishing and splashing at
Disney Resorts Collection pools. When we're selecting a Disney Resort hotel for our next stay, my kids' top priority is choosing a hotel with a super splash-tastic pool!
To answer your question,
you are welcome to bring flotation devices for your children to use at Disney Resort hotels and water parks. Just be sure that the flotation devices you bring are US Coast Guard/UL approved. Complimentary life vests
are available at Disney Resort hotels and water parks, which is super convenient! These life vests are available on a first-come, first-served basis, though, so if your little one will depend on a flotation device, it may be wise to bring your own along. My family will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in about a month and I was debating leaving our 3-year old's puddle jumper behind, but I think I'll be packing it since she's so used to swimming with it!
I hope this was helpful, Elizabeth. I'm wishing you and your family a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
