Are there any restrictions with regard to costumes for MNSSHP? Are "scary" masks allowed? Thanks!

    Hi Rebecca,

We are anticipating our October family vacation to Walt Disney World so I have my Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets right here including a letter stating the official costume guidelines.

    "Halloween costumes should not:
-obstruct the guest's view or interfere with their ability to board/unload from attractions and/or WDW resort transportation
    -drag on the ground
-contain sharp or pointed objects or material that may accidentally strike another guest
    -be offensive to other guests
-contain any weapons which resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon."

Therefore, a scary mask such as a zombie or other frightening visage is likely fine as long as it's not too gory, etc. I've seen "scary" costumes at the Halloween parties including the use of some fake blood.

Keep in mind that it will likely be hot and humid even at night time!

Enjoy the party as it's one of my favorite events at WDW!
