Are there restrictions on the food u can bring into the park? I only found restrictions on the size of ice chest or bags

Hello Jessica!  I always bring a soft sided cooler into the parks when I visit with my family.  It's nice to have some snacks and drinks on hand, plus it saves money.

There are only 2 real restrictions on what you are able to bring into the parks.  You wont be able to bring in anything that is in glass containers and you are not allowed to bring in outside alcohol.  Other than that, you are free to bring in what you wish.  We like to bring in snacks like goldfish, pretzels, small cookies, canned soda and juice boxes.  We don't bring in bottled water because you can get a large ice water free at any quick service food location.  We normally eat our main meals at the parks and resorts but I know people that also bring in lunch items like sandwiches.  Keep in mind if you pack lunch items to take to the parks, there isn't a place to heat anything up so it should be cold items only.

I hope this helps!  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
