Are there any restrictions on bringing your own strollers?

     Hi there, Kristina!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for stopping by with your question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  Before you know it, your vacation will be here and you will be in Orlando making the most magical memories that will undoubtedly last a lifetime.  I am so excited for you and the adventure that awaits you!

As a mom to two boys, I definitely understand the importance of having a stroller for full days at the theme parks!  With extreme hesitation we just recently parted with our double jogging stroller and I immediately thought “what will we do the next time we go to the theme parks?!?” because it came in handy on so many previous trips!  If nothing else, a stroller can come in handy to hold gear and rest tired legs in the middle of a long day, so we may find ourselves renting a stroller on our next trip!  While Guests are permitted to bring their own personal strollers, they must meet the size requirements as stated in the park rules.  Strollers must be smaller than 31 inches wide and 52 inches long in order to be permitted in the theme parks and wagons of any kind are not permitted.  I would recommend checking your stroller’s manufacturer’s website for exact specifications for your stroller model to ensure that it meets the requirements.  Often the websites will even state whether or not they meet Walt Disney World Resort size requirements, which is very handy!  If your stroller does not meet the requirements – or if you prefer to not bring your own – you can always rent a stroller at the theme parks or through a local company that will deliver it to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel!

Since it appEARs that you will be traveling with at least one Mouseketeer, I want to recommend Mobile Ordering…this is a lifesaver for my crew!  Being able to order food en route to the restaurant is a huge time saver and has proven to avoid many meltdowns from hungry littles!

Kristina, I know you are going to have the most incredible vacation ever!  Say hi to Mickey for me!
