Is there any restriction on senior citizens bringing a small folding stool to use while viewing Fantasmic, etc., at Disneyland? I can't stand for long periods of time nor sit on the ground comfortably.

Greetings, Janet! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The Disneyland Resort goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone, no matter their differing abilities, can enjoy the parks to the fullest. While folding chairs/stools are typically not allowed into the parks according to the Park Rules, entertainment options like World of Color and Fantasmic! typically have handicap accessible areas with limited seating for those in need. You would just need to speak to a Cast Member before the show begins to see if they can accommodate you.

Another option that might work best for you while you visit the parks is renting a wheelchair or electric conveyance vehicle (ECV). These will alleviate the discomfort of having to stand to wait for attractions (there is usually a separate handicap entrance) and for the nighttime shows, you may remain in your wheelchair or ECV while you watch. Plus these will allow you to navigate the parks efficiently and comfortably.

I hope this helps. Have a magnificent visit to the Disneyland Resort!
