Has the restriction for bringing a cooler into Animal Kingdom? I read on the Disney website that only plastic straws and lids are prohibitted in Animal Kingdom, but see tons of other sites that state no coolers at all. Can you please help and be specific.

Hello Renee and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I totally understand your great question because for me there's nothing more satisfying than filling a backpack up with tasty snacks and nice treats for my whole family to enjoy during our Disney day; plus it's also a great way to watch our spending habits and to hopefully save a little extra money to splurge on merchandise and souvenirs!
Disney Cast Members are simply Wild About Safety and as you mention, for the safety of the animals, balloons and straws are not permitted at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
A quick peek at the current Walt Disney World Resort Rules and Regulations should let you see all the relevant sizes and dimensions for permitted items including coolers.
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort please do pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
