I see on the restricted site that you cannot bring wagons in. I have a 6 year old and he is to big for a stroller. We were wanting to use one of the collapsable (folding) wagons. Is this allowed?

Hi Jennifer! Disney has to limit the various type of things guests are allowed to bring into the parks for the safety of everyone. You can imagine how crazy the parks would become if guests were given freedom of all things.

The list of Restricted Personal Items will show you that wagons are not allowed. It will not matter if they are foldable or not as once you are in and they are open they make it another hazard for the guests walking around. Strollers and wheelchairs and ECVs are the only mode of transportation allowed. I suggest you take a look at the Disney strollers that they rent as most are more roomy then the personal strollers that many parents use. You can rent them per day or length of stay pricing.

You might want to make this trip a milestone for your son. Give him incentives to walk the parks. My grandson has been walking them since he was four and has done great. Keep your pace reasonable and know when to stop for a drink of water or snack. Sometimes when you slow down in the parks is when you will notice some of the hidden magic that is taking place while others race by. Talk about the fun things ahead that you are going to do and make games along the way. Leaving strollers at home gives a whole new freedom to the family.
