Welcome to planDisney, Christina. I'm THANKFUL you're hEAR with your question about turkey with all the trimmings!
Nothing quite says Thanksgiving like the traditional American turkey dinner, so I appreciate this question and hope I can help in your quest. First, I'll encourage you to bookmark
the Disney Parks Blog as typically holiday menus and restaurants featuring special feasts are announced there first. In the meantime, there are a few restaurants that are showing a holiday option already and ones that offer more of a traditional feast year round. I encourage you to check out the following restaurants:
-
Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge
(this is a great option if you'll be at Magic Kingdom Park on Thanksgiving as it's a short boat ride away) -
Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom Park
-
Steakhouse 71 (recently reimagined and reopened at Disney's Contemporary Resort; only a short walk from Magic Kingdom Park) -
The Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT
-
Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios
Christina, the restaurants I suggested above are all Table-Service restaurants that accept advanced dining reservations. Since Thanksgiving is getting closer, you may have difficulty finding a reservation, so if you're interested in a "sit-down" option, I encourage you to keep checking back as often as you can. Now, if you'd like a Thanksgiving meal at a Quick-Service restaurant, the following locations offered a special holiday menu item last year. While I can't guarantee a repeat of last year, closer to your trip I encourage you to browse the menus at these restaurants:
-
Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café at Magic Kingdom Park
-
Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT
-
Satu'li Canteen at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Christina, I hope this helps as you're planning out your Thanksgiving celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort. Wherever you end up dining I hope it's delicious and has you feeling extra thankFULL. If you have any additional questions, come on back to planDisney and have a Magical trip.
Lauren
