Greetings Chad, and welcome to planDisney! We're so excited for you to be our guest for a magical Walt Disney World vacation.
Some members of my family can act a little beastly if they don't start their day with a hearty breakfast, so I understand wanting to plan your day accordingly. During the current phase of reopening, you will find a variety of theme park adjacent restaurants in the Resort Hotels to satisfy your morning cravings. Depending on where you are staying, in the very early hours, it may be best to reach your destination using a ride share service like Uber or Lyft.
If you're spending the day at the Magic Kingdom Park, nearby
Kona Cafe,
the Grand Floridian Cafe,
The Wave...of American Flavors, and
Chef Mickey's begin serving breakfast in advance of park opening. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy one of these table-service meals before hopping on a monorail or watercraft to the theme park. If you prefer to take a stroll after your meal, restaurants located in Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom Park.
If EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios is your day's destination, consider riding over to the Crescent Lake region to start your day with breakfast at
Trattoria al Forno on Disney's BoardWalk or Ale & Compass at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. Disney's Riviera Resort is just a short flight on the Disney Skyliner from both of these theme parks and features a delightfully delicious character breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. Because EPCOT opens a bit later than the other theme parks these days, having a pre-opening breakfast nearby is a fantastic way to fuel up for a day of futuristic fun and international travel.
One last hidden gem I'd like to mention is
Olivia's Cafe at
Disney's Old Key West Resort. Not only does this laid back table-service eatery feature delicious, Floridian-inspired breakfast entrees, but it also offers lovely outdoor patio seating. All theme parks can be reached by bus following a morning meal here.
