Hiya Chris,
Welcome to planDisney! I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner! I cannot wait to stuff my face full of turkey, cranberry sauce (from the can, of course), and as much bread as I can muster. I might not be able to spend it at the Most Magical Place on Earth, but I always keep my eye on the menus for inspiration for my own meal.
Speaking of celebrating turkey day at Walt Disney World Resort, let’s chat about where to find turkey for you and your family, Chris. You will be happy to know that there are multiple locations at Walt Disney World Resort where you can find a turkey dinner. For locations outside of the theme parks check out,
Whispering Canyon Café at Wilderness Lodge (they are offering a skilled featuring oak-smoked turkey and cranberry relish),
Olivia’s Café at Old Key West (featuring an oven-roasted turkey breast and garlic mashed potatoes),
Steakhouse 71 at Contemporary Resort (serving roasted turkey and cornbread stuffing),
Ale and Compass at the Yacht Club (they will have an oven-roasted turkey entrée), and
Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge (which will serve a yummy tandoori-basted heritage turkey and sweet potato and coconut mash). If you are planning to head to Magic Kingdom, you can also find turkey at
Liberty Tree Tavern and
The Diamond Horseshoe (year-round).
I hope this was helpful, Chris. Before I let you go, don’t forget to check out
Disney Springs for Thanksgiving offerings. I’m still waiting for word on what they will offer this year, but in years past, you could always find some turkey offerings at locations such as The Boathouse, Raglan Road, and the Edison. Please come back and see us if you need anything else, and have an out-of-this-world Thanksgiving!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
