Hi Kimberly,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited to hear that you’re planning a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the
Most Magical Time of the Year! Having Thanksgiving Dinner at the Walt Disney World Resort sounds like a very special meal with your family, and I’m happy to share what may be available for you to reserve.
Menus and special offerings for this traditional American holiday have not yet been made available for 2023, but please keep an eye on both the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Walt Disney World website (individual restaurant menus) for news and details of a holiday meal in the coming weeks. For an idea of what has been offered in past years, please see the
Foodie Guide to Thanksgiving 2022 which was posted in late October 2022. Since we are now within the 60-day window of Thanksgiving 2023, I encourage you to reserve a table at a restaurant that appeals to you now and then modify your plans if something else comes available featuring a dish you desire. Please know that while some restaurants may feature a specific holiday menu on this day, all of the usual dining locations will be available to reserve and enjoy their everyday themed menus.
Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom Park is a table service restaurant that is always serving up Thanksgiving Day Dinner delights! My family has a fun memory of visiting this iconic tavern in Liberty Square one festive fall day and while it wasn’t the proper turkey day on the calendar, we felt like it was that special family holiday! The theme and style are an homage to my home state of Virginia with its Colonial décor and the tastes of roasted turkey, pot roast, and pork with all the trimmings bring you right back to many years at home surrounded by family.
The best part of a Thanksgiving feast at any Walt Disney World Resort restaurant is that you can skip the tedious work of preparations, shopping, cooking, and clean-up and just enjoy whatever these talented dining teams have designed for you on this special holiday! No matter what you decide for this Thanksgiving Day dining reservation, being with family in a magical place and making memories together is what the spirit of the holidays is all about. I hope you can make a dining reservation that suits your plans, and I’ll be keeping a close eye on the Disney Parks Blog with you for any delicious news to drop soon!
Wishing you a magical holiday season,
Amy
